energy pass: Certificado de eficiciencia energética de edificios existentes

The Spanish Government will be obliged to prescribe an energy passport, the “Certificado de eficiciencia energética de edificios existentes”, for all houses and apartments sold or rented after 1 June.

The transitional arrangement will end on 1 September.
After this time, owners who do not have a valid energy passport are liable to charge a penalty of up to 6,000 euros. Do not have an energy ID? The costs vary depending on the house size and equipment normally between 200, – € and 500, – EURO.
